New Missions - The beginning

27 years ago I had caught the vision of a very close friend and pastor.

The vision was to go to Haiti, the most economically depressed country in this hemisphere, and educate, feed, clothe, give medical attention to, and preach the bible to this country where voodoo was practiced and the government was corrupt. It was after catching this vision that I found myself as one of the major contributors to capture and help institute this vision.

The seed was planted on an ocean front piece of property and a small shack where teaching, preaching, and aid would be provided to the people of Haiti.

Over the past 27 years New Missions has grown to 70 buildings, 22 schools, 22 churches a college and a medical clinic. Everyday over 9,000, yes that’s right 9,000 children are educated in classrooms, given food, clothing, and medical attention along with helping with their needs at home.

As the world watched the devastation of the magnitude 7 earthquake that took hundreds of thousands of lives, our mission and vision in Haiti has remained the same. We have lost nearly half our buildings due the quake, yet refuse to be defeated by this tragedy. We have continued our daily responsibilities without missing a day.
Many countries from around the world have used our facilities to deliver aid and medical attention to the people that where so affected.

The United States had full use of our compound on the beach to land vessels and helicopters to bring relief. We were able to house 500 military staff at our compound as well. Today we are rebuilding the facilities that where damaged and continue the vision of 27 years ago.

I have been so blessed to be part of this organization for 27 years and would ask you to visit our website
